Is music part of your 4th of July?

 Yamaha Disklavier 4th of July

Because we live music-centric lifestyles here at Yamaha MusicSoft, music is a natural part of the holiday season. However, we realize that is not necessarily the case for everyone else. So, we’d like to hear from you to see if and how music is a part of your 4th of July?

I’ve spent that last few years attending a 4th of July celebration in my local community park. During the day they have bands playing a mix of classic rock, summer-themed songs and patriotic music. The fireworks display at night is usually accompanied by patriotic music in a variety of genres culminating with a big fanfare during the grand finale. It tends to bring up a mixture of emotions with memories of summers past and a look to the future.

If you are looking for some musical inspiration for your holiday gathering, check out the Yamaha MusicSoft website for 4th of July-themed titles. Or, if you own a Yamaha keyboard, Clavinova or Disklavier that you can connect directly to the internet, we suggest you check out the “Songs of America” channel on our Piano Radio service. One of these may be the perfect music solution to accompany your holiday party!
