Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga, and The Rolling Stones in This Week's New Songs

We're kicking off a fresh round of MIDI song releases this week with two brand new hits from Kelly Clarkson and Lady Gaga, and two undisputed Rolling Stones classics - "It's All Over Now" and "You Can't Always Get What You Want".

Kelly Clarkson - All I Ever Wanted

Kelly Clarkson has released some amazing songs, like "Since U Been Gone" and "Because of You" since rising to stardom as the winner of the first "American Idol" competition. Over the years, she's also shown that she express herself equally well through rock, pop, and ballads. Her latest single, "All I Ever Wanted", is a danceable rock song with ballad worthy lyrics, which makes perfect use of Clarkson's talents. It's a classic breakup song with and rock and roll guitar, so singing or playing along with it is a great way to get out something out of your system. Whether you can identify with the love life problems of the lyrics or not, this song will still be a welcome addition to your keyboard's library.

Lady Gaga - Alejandro

Lady Gaga's hits keep on coming. From "Bad Romance" to "Telephone" and now with "Alejandro", she continues to make dance pop songs that are as catchy as they are different. "Alejandro" has the beat and synthesizer based instrumentation that will sound right at home in a European disco, but also has a strong vocal chorus that fans of ABBA should find familiar and fans of modern pop music should find very refreshing. A nice choice if you're looking to refresh your keyboard's song library, or learn keep your repertoire in tune with the the latest hits.

The Rolling Stones - It’s All Over Now

The Rolling Stones' first #1 hit, "It's All Over Now" is a shining example of British-invasion-era rock and roll. From the jangle of the guitars to the straight forward rock beat to the bluesy Keith Richards solo to the lyrics, which tell a tale of heartbreak that everyone will be familiar with, "It's All Over Now" is one of the Rolling Stones best early pop songs. It will make a wonderful addition to any keyboard in need of some good old 60's rock and roll.

The Rolling Stones - You Can't Always Get What You Want

"You Can't Always Get What You Want" may be the Rolling Stones' greatest achievement, and now it can be your keyboard's greatest achievement, too. Adding brilliant choral harmonies and strings to the heavy percussion and guitars that made up the sound of the Stones in the 70s, this song has the best of rock, gospel and pop. It has stood the test of time, becoming one of the Stones' most popular songs and being featured memorably in a number of films and tv shows. Your performance of "You Can't Always Get What You Want" on your keyboard will certainly add to the song's legacy as one of classic rock's greatest.

Be sure to check back soon for more new songs - we're making changes to get you more songs more often, and you should see the effects in a couple of weeks!
