We've got a set of new songs for you this week at Yamaha MusicSoft that's small in size but large in quality. The standout track this week has to be "Wrong", by Depeche Mode.
Depeche Mode's latest album, Sounds of the Universe debuted in the top 5 in the UK and the US last month, and at #1 throughout most of continental Europe. "Wrong" is the first single from the album and it's classic Depeche Mode - which means it'll sound great on your keyboard.
Or, if you're more in the mood for a throw back, this week's batch of songs also includes classics from the Temptations and the Rolling Stones. Check the full list below, and be sure to check back for more in the next few weeks.
Wild Angels - Martina McBride
Wild Horses - The Rolling Stones
Keeps Gettin' Better - Christina Aguilera
Life Is a Highway - Rascal Flatts
Kryptonite - 3 Doors Down
Jump In the Line (Shake, Senora) - Harry Belafonte
I Can't Get Next To You - The Temptations

I have a Yamaha YPG keyboard I just recently purchased. Is there an unabbreviated list of the music database titles anywhere ideally including artist name. Maybe I didn't find it yet but it would be nice on Digital Music Notebook to have a search to match up midi offerings with the YPG Music Database.
Hi Scott,
Great idea! I'm assuming you mean a full list of songs that the music database entries are based on, rather than the abbreviated titles you see in the manual and on the instrument?
I'll look into it and see if something like this is available.

Scott,
Unfortunately, there's no full list available. If there are certain database titles you'd like Digital Music Notebook recommendations for, though, we can definitely help you out. Just send us an email here, with the database entries your interested in and we'll get you the information you need.

Doug .. thanks much for checking. I browsed around the net and found a couple other people have complained about not being able to decipher the 8 character long coded Music Database List on the YPG keyboards and same in the manual. I'll keep searching, I'm sure someone somewhere created the list from a long titled version.
